Lions and Tigers and Proms, Oh My!

Hello all ūüôā

This past weekend, a high school phenomenon happened- more commonly known as Prom.

What is this “prom”?

NOUN

  1. informal –¬†NORTH AMERICAN
a formal dance, especially one held by a class in high school or college at the end of a year.

Now that that’s covered, let’s get to the point of this blog post, shall we?

I’ve dreamed from a little girl to have a HUGE poofy dress. Well, for my senior prom, that dream finally came true.

So, the irony in all of this? My prom’s theme was “Can You Feel The Love Tonight”. You know, the song by Elton John. From the one and only “The Lion King”. In case you need a reminder:

This was the bottom picture on our photo booth picture strip- along with a little lion.

So yeah, prom was pretty awesome. Time with my favorite, lions everywhere, it was nice.

“Superstitious” (Because my Boyfriend is Talented as Heck)

In my first post on this blog I mentioned how amazing my boyfriend is.

Now, I’m gonna brag a bit.

10 Reasons I love TJ:

  1. He dresses really well.
  2. He knows how to make me smile.
  3. His hair is fantastic.
  4. He’s a really talented musician.
  5. He’s a great person, period.
  6. He’s really cute and romantic and sweet.
  7. He does stuff like my Relay for Life fundraisers with me.
  8. His family and friends are great.
  9. He talks about me to his friends… as embarrassing as that actually is.
  10. And finally, related to this post, he’s a great actor.

I’m not going to say much, but you can watch. This is a short scene he and a friend of his¬†recently starred in, directed and produced all by his friends as well. It’s called “Superstitious”.

I’m just gonna throw the credits down here, too—

So, yeah. He’s been a little down recently because of some stuff that happened, but I just want him to know how amazing he is and how much I love him.

Thanks. Enjoy the video!
